MSSOA Mount Adams Guided Climb - 2 Day

Mountains Sea & She - Outdoor Adventures is partnering with women-owned guide company - Rare Earth Adventures to host an all-women's MSSOA exclusive climbing event, led by professional mountain guides.

You’ll be joined by a group of like-minded women as you scale the second highest peak in Washington state. You can climb this amazing volcano summit with a professional guide to learn the skills to climb with confidence. Mt Adams, who's native name is Pahto and Klickitat, is the largest volcano in the state by bulk, supporting over 10 glaciers and numerous routes of varying difficulty. All routes involve significant risk and require proficiency in route-finding, ice axe and crampon use. 

During this 2-day itinerary, you'll be taught how to use crampons and an ice axe, be rewarded (on a clear day) with views of Mt. Rainier, Mt Hood, and Mount Saint Helens in the distance, and get to glissade…
